Add Guests

Guests are people who are not members of your organization, but are party to the loan in some capacity, such as brokers, loan officers, real estate agents, or title company employees. In some cases, like a title agent, a Guest doesn\’t need a username and password. They can simply be emailed the encrypted link to the Borrower dashboard and view the Loan status and details there. 

1. In the menu, click Guests.
2. Click .

    

3. Enter the info.
4. For the Access level, basic access only allows the guest to view (read only). Full access allows them to interact, such as uploading docs or saving a note.
5. Select the group. New fields might become, depending on the type of guest available for certain types of guests. For Brokers, you must enter at least one processing fee and type of mortgage. Up to three may be entered, but you can add more later in the Guest Options  popup window. Also for Brokers, one or more preferred lenders, and a credit vendor are required. These will be used when a broker or loan officer registers a new loan. 

After Adding a Guest:

1. The guest will be emailed with their new credentials and a link to sign in.
2. The guest will also be saved in the Users page, which houses the guest\’s username and password.
3. For some guests, the additional fields will be saved in the Guest Options  popup window.
4. If your new guest is a Broker, he or she will receive an email from Tikit telling them their account has been created. They can then log in and begin submitting files on their Loan Registration page.
