Lead Tech
Your company may grow and want a Tech to step up in a lead role managing other techs. A Manager user role would accommodate this, however, your your Tech might also need to continue processing Tickets. This is where the Lead Tech role comes into play.
The Lead Tech can still be assigned Tickets, but also has access to other Techs\’ Tickets, whereas a regular Tech only sees their own Tickets.
To create a Lead Tech:
- In the menu, click the Techs link or Users link.
- Click the + Add New icon.
- Enter the info, selecting Lead Tech as the role or group.
- To edit a Tech, click the Pencil icon, edit, then click Save.
After Adding a Tech:
- The Tech will be emailed with their new credentials and a link to sign in.
- The Tech will also be saved in the Users page, which houses their username and password.
