Add or Edit Categories

Categories allow you to organize the loan items and conditions. Tikit comes with predefined categories to help you quickly get started, but you may add, edit, or delete categories. Once categories are set up, you can add loan items and conditions in each category on the SmartList page.

1. In the menu, click the Categories link.
2. Click .
3. Enter the category info.
4. To make a subcategory, simply select a parent for the category. You may have categories 3 levels deep.

To edit a category, click the Edit button, edit the information as needed, then click Update. You may sort the categories by clicking the arrows on the right side.
