Setup: How to Start Adding Tickets
To quickly start processing loans, knock out these steps:
- Subdivisions – Add your Subdivisions on the Subdivisions page. You must have at least one Subdivision to start adding Tickets.
- Categories – Add and edit on the Categories page. Categories are common things like Electrical, Plumbing, Roofing, etc.
- Email & Text Templates – Review and edit the pre-built templates on the Email Templates page. These are used by the system for reminders and to help you create messages faster.
- Techs – Add your Techs on the Techs page. They will be emailed with their account login info. Remember, Tikit pricing is based on users. Each Tech, Admin and Manager (or any other employees or contractors working for you) you add will affect billing.
You must add at least one Tech in order to start adding Tickets.
When first setting things up in your dashboard, it might be good to add a test ticket and see the whole process.
