User vs. Guest

A user simply refers to a username and password combination set up for logging into the website. Generally, users include any employees or contractors in your company who will be assisting with loan processing.

Certain Users, such as Brokers and Loan Officers, are classified and saved automatically as Guests because they are not part of your company. After you add a Guest such as a Broker, they can log in to register new loans and see loans currently in their pipeline, however, their Guest status limits their capabilities.

They can only see and do things a Broker would need to do, things relevant to their loans, such as viewing loan statuses, uploading additional docs, leaving a note for the Processor, viewing communication history, etc.
